DD I do not Attack scientists- I am a real one one like Daddy was, who does
the experiment only long enough to find the answer, and goes on to production.
I don't waste my life writing things down. If you want to know, ask me. Info
is outdated as quick as it is made today.
DD I attack persons who get all their knowledge from a book or computer
screen without doing the experiment for themselves- yet claim to be an expert. I
attack people who only look at another persons viewpoint to make up their own
minds. College is for the elite few who are blessed with time and money for
it. Not for those of us who have been too busy living the news daily to have
time to read about it.
DD I am in Dayton, Ohio. I'm surrounded by people with Phd's who beg help to
wipe their butts, because they forgot what toilet paper was while busy
investigating E- coli for 40 years. It gives you an attitude. Let's get -R- done
already.
DD Yea, and I am pissed at the weather channel for limiting the avalibility
of real time weather info. They now crowd up the cable I pay dearly for with
storm story repeats of the past, while we can't get the info we need for our
own protection. The only time I was ever caught in a tornadic storm was due to
lack of information I counted on in the past from the weather channel. When I
needed a quick radar view on my way out the door, they didn't even get me a
local forecast. I was literally blown off the road by a tornadic supercell
hailstorm in Stark county. It gives you an attitude when you are blown in a ditch
because they showed you sombodys problems in Texas you already seen before.
DD You don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows, but an
opinion and data on how hard it will blow is timely. I guess we are all supposed
to have $800 laptops with uplinks now just to farm with a $200 horse we bought
with life savings? My Dad had a good Westinghouse joke about airbrakes on a
jackass.
DD This is the problem with all that data, it is now unavalible to most of us
who can't open a Damn PDF file with our old computers. We also have to wait
for a computer to work slow on dialup and I have a mowing schedual to keep. The
information is only available for those elite few who can afford a new
computer every 10 years or less. My kids get more time on my computer to play games
than I do because I live on the job, on the road, or at the farm in my
greenhouse.
DD What good in the world is all that data we paid for as taxpayers if we
can't access it. Remember how many of us still cannot or don't even want to turn
a computer on??? Are we ignorant because we walk outside to feel the
temperature instead of trusting the airport 20 miles away? I just learned to E- mail a
few short years ago. I can tell the world that I've been working in isolation
on the problems they brought up 15 years ago. Oh yea, I solved a few global
problems while they were in school busy reading about and worrying
DD Oh yea, my two brothers ARE the Air Force Energy dept. and yea, they have
PhD's Weren't we discussing their work in this string? What happened?
        Geez,
       Dan Dimiduk
