[Digestion] Standards for digestate

In Germany, there is the "Quality assurance digestion products RAL GZ-256"
by the Compost Quality Assurance Organisation. It is voluntary to have your
product certified under this standard.

Then there are the standards with respect to pathogens and heavy metals set
by the German Ordinance on Biological Wastes (Bioabfall-Verordnung) which
apply to composting or anaerobic digestion of biological wastes other than
manure and animal by-products.

Greetings to everyone at the Digestion mailing list.

I would like to know of examples of any industry standards that have
been produced globally for anaerobic digestate. In the UK we have the
composting standard the BSI PAS 100, with a digestate standard under
consideration by the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency. What do
other countries use as quality controls or standards for digestate?

Best regards
