Dear Alejandro

work on an anaerobic treatment process for solid bedback manure from a large
feedlot operation has been done in Alberta, Canada. The system is operated
by Higmark Renewables Inc., and information is provided on their website:
http://www.highmark.ca/index.php?area_id=1000

Apparently, soil material is difficult to handle in the digestion process
and requires a specifically designed process.

Regards,
Mathias

Feedlots in Argentina have not concrete floors and the
manure is mechanically swept and piles of manure mixed
with soil are made. To digest the manure would be
better to separate it from the soil or feed it to the
digester and have a separation process after?

I appreciate any information and ideas.

Thanks,

Alejandro Bustamante
