Re Jason Perry's inquiry --
There is an operational multi-farm digester in Tillamook Oregon, run by the
Port of Tillamook Bay. Jack Crider is the contact person there. All the
manure to this facility is delivered by tanker truck and returned to the
farms in the same manner. There are two groups in Snohomish County, WA who
are in various stages of feasibility for centralized digesters. Neither is
operational, but both are planned to be centralized systems for multiple
farms. Qualco Energy is one group, contact is Dale Reiner, and the other is
Stanwood Bio Energy Producers (SBEP); There is an extensive in-ground
pipeline system proposed for the SBEP project, for which we have done a
feasibility assessment. You can contact me directly for more details
carolyn at resourceconsulting.us. I would also be interested in hearing of
other OPERATIONAL multifarm systems, if you are successful in locating them.
All the best,
Carolyn Henri
