and thought wow.... she had a glowing life...wonder how many times she got 
to slow down and think about life.. and hear appreciation from those she had 
touched?

I wonder how much we make people know how much we appreciate them?

Well, let me start with me.

I appreciate and thank you Tom for the TREMENDOUS work you do in this list 
and in this world village of digestion and stoves, to make this place a 
better place.
I am grateful to people like you who facilitate others, taking time from 
your own schedule to serve others.
I truly mean this.

At least, if it took Lt Perez life to make me think this way, then it will 
not have been in vain.
