The attachment mentioned was too big - contact Luke if you are
interested. Remember attachments are stripped, so put in a URL (or send
me the file to put up on the WWW).
Also remember to diable mail if you have a "vacation message" - so you
don't get "bounced" off the list.
As I cannot read the attachment I wonder if the"Bioconversion" List at
REPP may be a more appropriate forum.
Hi all,
Although this isn't strictly "digestion" I thought I might introduce you
to
a totally new idea for generating biogas. See attached paper:
"Geo-sequestrated CO2 as a renewable resource"
Benefits include:
Very large scale. "digester" volumes on the scale of megalitres. That
is,
volume x porosity of aquifer.
Ubiquitous. Hot dry rock underlays deep saline aquifers all over the
globe
including the western parts of USA and Australia.
Kills two birds with one stone. Huge amounts of atmospheric CO2 can be
buried with huge amounts of methane produced (and stored).
Regards,
Luke Gale
