Dear Vishaw Gokhale,
GIT Associates (http://www.gitassociates.com) seems to have a lot of experience in installing biogas plants.
You have experience in installing a biogas plant (20 MT) that is mainly digesting the organic fraction of MSW. Would you mind to provide more information on that plant?
Regarding the list of plants on your website:
Is it possible to get more information on plants that convert canteen/kitchen waste into biogas?
The information we are looking for is for example:
- Input material
- Volume and type of reactor
- functionality
- operational problems
- economic aspects
Best regards,
Christian Müller

There is a need to develop suitable model for treatment of MSW using anaerobic treatment with the recovery of biogas. We have experience in installing one such plant for 20 MT MSW with biogas recovery and power generation from the same. There are smaller installations varying from 100 kg/day to 2mt pr day. In most cases the use of biogas is in cooking

Dear all,
We (project team of sandec: www.sandec) are conducting a study on the potential of biogas technology for municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment in developing countries.
The focus is put on running biogas plants (at least on a pilot scale basis) in developing countries that mainly use organic solid waste (kitchen waste (food waste), agricultural waste, coffee pulp etc.).
We are interessted in case studies or further contact adresses! Thanks for your reply Christian M?ller
