[Digestion] Animal Bones

Anyone

Has anyone had any experience with processing animal bones as part of
the AD process feed stream. We have read that it can be
done however there is not much information on it.

We are looking at adding crushed animal bones to a biogas plant however
we are not convinced that the additional cost would justify
the expense in methane yield, and we are not sure how much the bone
would degrade and what solids would be left.

The rest of the stream is made up of grass, manure, food waste and
domestic waste
