Dear Maria,

usually there is no need to analyse the emissions from biofilters. 
Malfunctioning of biofilters is most often because the filter material 
is too dry or too wet so that the bacteria in the biofilm cannot work 
efficiently. Another option might be that it is overloaded. Had the 
filter been working successfully before?
If it just started, the bacteria need some start up time to get used to 
their new food.
