[Digestion] question about biodiesel production from palm oil plantation

Dear collegue,
I am currently visiting Ecuador and was involved in a trip to visit a palm oil plantation. It seems there is interest in the production of biodiesel from this source: could anybody help me in getting material to read and information about this specific application in tropical climates?
