Dear Warren,
I got to know that there is a wastewater facility in Bern, Switzerland where biogas is used for generating heat for the thermal sludge drying plant and for powering the block-type thermal power station to generate electricity and heat. You will find more information on: www.ara-bern.ch

According to my knowledge they are also adding food leftovers and other organic residues in order to increase the biogas yield. The objektive for the nearby future is to use the biogas to run municipal buses.

Best regards
Chris
