[Digestion] compressing biogas

Ken and all
Your first bite at the cherry was very tasty - thanks for that!
This bite might be a bit sour though. The economics might depend a lot on
evasion of govt taxes on vehicle fuel - a loophole they might plug the day
after you buy your compressor!
And your OSH "escape clause" wouldn't work everywhere, because garages are
often integral parts of the house, especially in the city and inner suburbs.
A detached garage might be safer - provided it is well ventilated. (It's not
much helpl to save folk from being blown up in their beds, only to blast
them into oblivion when they set off for work!)
Finally, a PS to my response to Michael: I listed all the plant items you'd
need, as adding up to a major capital cost (unless you can raid scrapyards)
but I forget to spell out that most of them would have to be over-rated if
only operated intermittently, when the wind blows. More cost! And most of
the time, they would idle or underutilized.
It's hard enough to make these systems pay when fully utilized!
Duncan
