[Digestion] Biogas bus engines

I am attempting to learn more about the biogas bus
engines being used in other countries. We are planning
to convert a diesel bus over to a CNG engine and run
100% biogas from our local municipal wastewater
facility. 

At our local wastewater plant they are using a GE
Jenbacher genset with special spark plugs---also made
by Jenbacher at $600 US each---that have a
precombustion chamber on the ends. 

I am assuming a regular CNG engine will work with
variable timing?
