Hi Will and all,
Unfortunately, I haven't came across this model. For this purpose I am using Biogas! from Arbi in Switzerland. However, you need your degradation and yield parameters for specific crops or biomass. In that case, you can run your own batch tests (BMP) and you can get that information that way. You can always select predetermined crops in the database, or build your own. It is a very user-friendly program, take the time to read through the instructions.
You may have to browse around in the German website to find the English download link:
www.softplus.net/produkte/biogase.asp%22
There is also another model in this paper, with their equation:
Biogas production from maize and dairy cattle manure—Influence of biomass composition on the methane yield
Agriculture, Ecosystems and Environment 118 (2007) 173–182
They will be hopefully publishing a more updated model in the upcoming years.
Hope that helps a little bit.
Terrence

Hello,
Has anyone come across the AD model called BIOMET (presented by Mishoe et.
all 1988). It is a model that considers alternative energy crops that can
be used as feedstock.
Does anyone know where I could get hold of this model?
Thank you very much
Will
