[Digestion] Lifecycle Assessment of Anaerobic Digestion in the UK

Hello all,

I am based in the UK (Bath) and for my PhD I am going to carry out a full
Lifecycle Assessment of various Anaerobic Digestion Plants. We use software
called SimaPro. I would like to compare the difference between Small Scale
and Large Scale and compare CHP (heat and Power) vs. Transport use. This
will be based for the UK only.

I am aware that similar work has been done before Berglund and Borjesson,
which is an excellent read (Biomass and Bioenergy Journal). However I would
like to carry out a similar approach but analysing other emissions that are
priority for UK.

My trouble is getting in contact with a working AD plant or an AD plant
designer which could help me in getting the data. There is currently only 1
large scale AD plant in the UK, with a handful of smaller ones.

Therefore I am after someone or a company/plant which would be willing to
collaborate with the research. I am mainly aiming this at anyone within
Europe as this is the distance that I can feasibly travel within my budget.
If I were to analyse a plant outside the UK, I would model it for that
particular country and then adapt it to the UK climate.

If you have any thoughts/feeling/suggestions about my work I would very
much like to hear from you as it is quite a large mission which I am
embarking on.

Many thanks for reading this

Will
