[Digestion] Concentration of headspaces gases from Acetogenesis

Dear Asim et al,
                         I cannot give you an answer to dark hydrogen production from acetogenesis, but I too sure would like to know.  If you can wade through the attached file, you will see that working with coffee wastes produces dark hydrogen in our acid ponds. Before we even get near the digestion stage.  Problem is that it comes off underneath a layer of mucilage fragments.  This means that we no longer have the synthesis of methane from H2 and CO2. So, our methane production is down on the theoretical.   But we don'tnow by how much???.       ,

  What we have been able to discern so far is that there is very little gas evolved in the acidogenesis/acetogenesis stage in our acid ponds, so in the meantime we have not worried too much. Too many other things to work on with limited time and funds available. However, If I ever get back to Vietnam, this question is top of the list to look into.   So,  please keep me in the loop as well.  Ken Calvert.

I am working on hydrogen production from dark fermentation of sewage. I am looking for the composition of headspace gases generated from the acetogenesis process. All the literature that i have searched give the composition of biogas generated from methanogenesis process. Nobody talks about the composition of acetogenesis products. Literature says that its hydrogen and carbon dioxide. But are there any other trace gases? If yes what is their percentage?
