[Digestion] Dark Hydrogen

Duncan Sori tru!
Google for biological dark hydrogen and you will eliminate all the
astronomical stuff and hit some paydirt.
Two pathways to biological hydrogen production. Photosynthesis, the
'light' stuff, and anaerobic breakdown of SCVFA's
or short chain volatile fatty acids, usually in the dark. Dark hydrogen is
produced in the normal digestion process, but you never see it, because
a different species of bacteria use it to convert carbon dioxide back to
methane as a side reaction. ATB Ken C.
