about electricity generation:

can you tell us something more about these generators? where would you buy them? how much do they cost? are they already modified for biogas?  if not, how do you modify it to biogas?

hi Francois
we are now exploring that idea: to produce enough gas for a small
 electricity generator. You can find now on the market small electricity
 generators (500 Watts), and they will comsume about 300 liters of biogas
 per hour. So, for a rural family, the y could have 3 hours of electricy
 for 900 liter of biogas every day. For cookung they wuill need about 700
 liters,. You can get about 1600 liters of biogas per day with 43 kg of
 fresh cow manure, mixed with 130 liters of water every day.
By the moment we are with familiars biodigesters, with 20kg of manure
 load, and 700 liter of biogas produccion per day.
 
The cost of a bodigester for 700-750 liter of biogas day is 170$us for
 altiplano (8 meter of biodigester), and 120$us for tropical places
 (valley is about 140$us)
 
and wating for the translation of the guide design and manual
 installation for english ... but a can send you in spanish. Is free
 distribution.
