Alex, Greetings,

Unfortunately, the small-scale systems that are required in many Indian
(and elsewhere) require 5 kW gas engines or smaller. Prakash was looking
for a 0.5 kW engine. Do you know of suppliers that do this size of engine?

Kirlowskar in India, used to supply a 5 kW dual fuel engine, but this is
not now available.

A Stirling engine would work well, but the technology is so new that it is
still very expensive.

Prakash: actually most of the generic answers are in Cogen:

Cheers,

David
