hi everybody
about the 500 watts motor, here in Bolivia you can find then for about 300-350 $us. They are for gasoline. you must transform the 'carburator' to injetc the biogas directly. as well you need a valve to get a constant biogas pressure inlet to the motor.

We are beginning to work with this 'house hold biogas electrify' and we have no more numbers. this is only and idea we are exploring now.

we are on the design phase. we calculate the consume of that motors on 300 liters per hour of biogas. we need to research more about this to be sure what are we talking about, sorry.

im agree with you that this development can be a chance for rural places without electricity, because the cost of all the system, with biodigester and motor, will be less than a familiar pholtovoltaic system, and you get also gas for cooking and the fertilizer.
