[Digestion] Power Rating and Energy Consumption for Pumping and Stirring

Dear all,

I am trying to determine the stirring and pumping energy consumption of 
various feedstock materials, for a net energy analysis model.

I think that this is dependant on the material's TS which is related to the 
viscosity and the rheology of the material. However, I cannot find a way of 
linking the material properties to the energy requirements to displace it. 
Has anyone come across a link between these factors in order to determine 
the optimum stirrer motor power and the power required for pumping around 
the plant.

Any help will be most appreciated.
