We covered energy conversion values quite some while back in regards to AD
Karve's fast biomass methane digestor.

In that modeling one quickly sees that roughly double the fuel energy
(BTU's) are produced for much -- very much so -- "LESS" effort!!

This for any food crop!!

Now -- going back to corn specifically.

When I was but 10 years old I was sent for summer school vacation to live
on a farm of family friends.

The first job I remember doing was walking around in circles in a silo
compacting green corn stalk -- which I was told -- later self fermented --
or something -- into excellent high quality dairy cow feed.

That besides hay -- the cows needed this high energy supplement -- so as to
not drop drastically in their milk production.

Course -- that was in the old days -- we know far better now -- burn it so
the SUVs can keep rolling -- as modern American Lifestyle is non negotiable.

Kevin is right -- the grant system is totally based on politically correct
connections and no longer has anything to do with sensible "advancement" of
any technology.

The only way to prosper under the present New american style is by being
the best whore on the street -- right -- or wrong??

As a person that has always been logical mind oriented -- I really can't
understand how people can keep on beating their heads against as to thick
stone wall.

When will any of you realize what is broken in your world is way past the
point of repair??

Well -- I believe i have the answer to that.

Never!!

Not even when you die from it will you know why!

so ya -- you got folks interested in knowing if gasification can relieve
them from crude oil derivatives addiction -- but they need a very minimum
of 15,000 watts power -- any less is non negotiable.

I wish more of you with fine minds were actually outside of this mess so
you could look at it from a distance -- gain true perspective -- realize
what is the problem -- and then -- maybe -- just maybe -- repair it.

But hey -- every day that passes only proves how more utterly impossible
such a scenario is in real terms.

Die-off -- from bi logical perspective.

A certain area of land can always support X-number of dear.

Due to good weather and fat times that population increases beyond that
average number -- greatly.

Then one bad winter comes -- so -- saying -- a herd of 1000 -- but only
enough forage for 100 to survive.

Options:

One -- all the deer get together and conserve food as much as possible --
strict rationing -- the old and the weak die off -- but 500 survive.

Two -- the deer form a military force and use that to kill all the deer in
neighboring lands -- thus greatly increasing their food base. After losses
in battle -- 500 survive.

Three -- they elect a ruler that proposes that changing their life style is
"non-negotiable" -- so the actual Nature of Things rules -- but 5 deer
survive.

Yes -- but there was enough forage for 100 at normal feeding rates -- why
only 5 survived??

BECAUSE THE DUMB F**KS never changed their "ways" and ended up eating all
the forage one month before spring came!!

To a Nerd -- this is a no brainer!!

For a Sheeple -- well -- they are no brainers -- right!!

By the way -- there is a fourth scenario -- one that probably is in play at
this moment -- that one goes like this:

The Deer rulers decide to kill 900 dear before winter sets in so 100 can
comfortably live through the winter -- with no require life style changes
-- at all.

Now -- I don't know if it is possible to break through and deprogram people
living in modern nations anymore -- certainly -- the Europeans are so
totally lost -- the Brits- - the Canadians -- the Australians -- the New
Zealanders -- hell -- even the Japanese -- 

but -- the American people were always knows for their very great
"resiliency" --

So hey Yanks -- how about less words and more action??

and behold -- they start a war up in the middle east!!

A fine combination of scenario "2" and "4"

You know what??

All things considered -- best choice possible -- so ya folks -- everything
is going God's way!!
