Hi Jonathan,

You asked me:

I do believe a splinter group formed around this interest last year, out of
this Forum. They all seemed motavated at the time, but the first need is a
quality tar free gas, and that will limit the simple practicality of small
scale installations.

I have reported all that was available from that time. We ourselves, did not
participate in the actual experiments.

Be aware, that most, if not all gasifiers originating in Asia, have water
cleaning systems, but please correct me if I have been incorrectly informed
on this specific detail. With cheap labour, you can do almost anything, but
agricultural residues in all their variations, are extreamly difficult to
make into a tar free gas, and high compression systems need really clean
gas. So if you disregard the environmental issues associated with water
cleaning of producer gas, anybody can try a basic FT system.

I don't think so :-)
