But it is a practical aid in helping to understand the forces at work. In
other words a mental experiment.

I have radiant floor heat and have been told that it works like radio waves
(kind of). Furthermore, in regards to the small amount of insulation
(critical radius) and radiation, is it possible that this small amount of
insulation acts like tiny antennas helping to transmitt the radiant heat
energy away. I know this sounds like a STUPID QUESTION but I just had to ask.
Heat is motion and motion is heat and IR waves are tiny, tiny, tiny
movements.
