No, I mean can pyrolysis take place in the total
absence of air. I think the answer is yes but I think
I remember reading something that said that the rate
of pyrolysis could be controlled by airflow. I
probably misread that though. Also, I regretfully
never paid enough attention in Chemistry class; it's
probably one of my weakest areas of knowledge.
BTW list, sorry that my line breaks aren't showing up
in the archived list server. I'm not sure of how to
fix it.
