Hopefully I have a paper coming out in Aug that will directly address many of 
Harmon Seaver's concern.

My considered judgment is this --- 

     [1]          World crude oil production has not peaked but will do so 
soon enough to cause us a lot of trouble.

     [2]          The "crunch year" is more important than the "peak year".
