Unfortunately, we have a lot of people in this world today who are so
totally self absorbed that they think they are above the rules. Some people
are just a bit clueless and need a little reminding, but a lot of others
are just thoughtless, inconsiderate jerks who don't give a damn about what
other people want, they are going to do whatever the hell they feel like and
screw everybody else. We see this all the time -- the infantile morons who
crank up their stereo so the whole world has to listen to their music, or
the assholes who finish drinking a can of soda and then just toss it on the
ground. Or the people who join a narrow focus technical discussion group and
then persist in posting off-topic crap on anything that THEY want to talk
about.
My wife is a nurse who runs a ward for the criminally insane in our
local mental hospital. She tells me that it is very characteristic of the
mentally ill that they don't understand boundaries, and so they do exactly
whatever comes to mind and to hell with anybody who doesn't like it.
Learn to respect others -- this is not alt.energy, it is about
gasification. If you can't live with that, maybe this list is not for you.
Also. you, like Mr. Escamilla, need to learn to trim your posts, it's basic
net-etiquette, as is not posting off-topic.
