[Gasification] cold/hot gas efficiency

Dear gasificators :)

i'm an italian student and i've got a question for you.
i don't understand the difference between cold gas efficiency and hot gas
efficiency 

in fact having a look at the site http://www.fluidynenz.250x.com/index.html
in the section engine tables looking for information abuot engine
characteristics , i've found this two words.
