That one comment explains why the DG does not scale down to very small
applications and why the IDG/IDD/TLUD is so adaptable to being very small for
cookstove use (and now there is work on making them larger for cottage
industry).

Question:  If (BIG IF) a traditional DG gasifier was operated ONLY for 
heat (and
therefore was not concerned about making minimal tars), could it operate in a
very small size?

What book are you writing, and when might it be available?
