[Gasification] [Bioenergy] Turkey offal stinks gain

Odor will continue to be a challenge for recovering energy and nutrients
from animal wastes as it has been for resource recovery plants, refuse
composting plants and other biological processes.

Even though solutions do exist there is not a lot of general experience
among technology suppliers for handling these apparently mundane feedstock
issues. So a lot of startup time and expense is spent fighting problems like
odor, dust or transient smoke incidents that appear to the outside observer
to last forever and consitue a public nuisance.

Thanks

Tom

to Gasification List from Lewis L
Smith

I understand that the process works all right. It's just that for some
strange reason, they haven't been able to prevent occasional outbursts of
foul oders.

This is strange, considering all the proven anti-order devices which List
members have come up with.

Cordially. End of message.
