[Gasification] up draft systems

Dear Mr Douglas Diaz and list members.

Incidentally I am also working in getting details on using gasification
based technology for providing heating needs to a small ceramic plant.
However, as far as I know, there is no need in focusing only on updraft
gasifier, downdraft systems can do the job quite all right. In fact many
gasifier manufacturers around the world report using downdraft systems
coupled to ceramic furnaces.
Have you any particular featuring on your system which does not allow you
using downdraft device....???????

Kindest regards.

Oscar.

Dear list members,

I'm working on a gasification project for my brother's ceramic factory.
He's spending loads of money burning L.P.G.
The roller kiln (a relatively small one 20 meters long) burns
1.5 M BTU´s /hr. or 14.5 cubic meters of gas per hour, aprox. )I've been a
list member for quite a long time now, and I suppose I've done my homework.

The point is haven’t found a updraft design to work on. It's full of info.
on downdrafts, .
Please let me know if there's something out there.

Thank you very much.
