Hi everyone,

I'm the Chairperson of the New Haven section of the American Society of
Mechanical Engineers in New Haven, Connecticut.

While trying to follow an energy theme, I've been looking for a guest
speaker for our January meeting. If anyone who reads this message, feels
they have something to offer, please respond with a short biographical
sketch and the topic on which you would like to speak.

It's an informal group, between 30 and 50 attendees (depending on the
topic and interest of the membership).

Everyone involved in our organization are volunteers. However, we have a
budget to cover travel expenses, hotel and meals for those who come to
visit and (IMO) it's a lot of fun.

In the past we've had guests from on-line discussion groups and they
turned out to be very enjoyable. Since many of us belong to multiple
groups, you may know a couple of them.

Steve Spence from green-trust.org gave an excellent talk on off-grid
power and Robert Del Bueno of Atlanta based Vegenergy explained the
history and techniques in making biodiesel.

Would you like to be our next speaker? I would like to hear from you!

Thanks.

Best regards,

Mike Redler, Chair
ASME, New Haven Section
