Yes I can see the burner would need re design to give extra time for a
clean burnout.

I can also see the need to accommodate more mass flow and lower
temperature but would have hoped the gasifier would control the ash.
One of the things I have experienced in big wood boilers is the
increased amount of firetube cleaning necessary if there are a lot of
fines in the fuel, gasification should address this.

Yes, that's what the consumer has come to expect in the west, natural
gas is way ahead in convenience already.

The other attributes of the Stirling are near silence and (hopefully)
longevity.
