Harmon,

Have you checked on the incidence of Chronic Wasting Disease in your deer
migrating area? It is a deer carried, "Mad Cow" disease deriviative which
was spread from a family of deer which were housed at the USDA animal pens
in Ft. Collins, CO. The deer had the disease, the USDA knew about it, and
shipped them to zoos and for herd dispersal all over the US in the 1960's I
believe. The USDA is spending a great deal of money attempting to get a
handle back on this disease that they had in one pen at one facility at one
time.

I believe Chronic Wasting Disease is the natural equivalent of an IED
(Improvised Explosive Device) in deer herds. Check your state records and
review your statistics before you load your gun. :-)
