You know -- liposuck American surplus fat to run diesel power plants in
Norway.

Also -- even if oil is magically created by forces unknown under the deep
mantles of planet earth crust -- we still will always end up using more
than can be produced. Just look at the numbers -- and how they increase.

Anyway -- we have:

The Nature of Things (generalized everything)

But -- we also have other "natures" -- such as:

"The Nature of Human Behavior"

Then we can break that down to:

The Nature of Barbarian Blooded Humans

Of which we have a long -- accurate -- historical accounting.

So -- by the very nature of things -- compounded by the Nature of Barbarian
Blooded Humans --

They are big on denial -- and extra large on procrastination.

At their very best -- they eat seed!!

Will we totally run out of fossil fuel??

However -- I seriously doubt that we will run out!!

Here is how these barbarian blooded peoples -- in control of the major
industrialized nations (though -- that is beginning to be debatable in
regards to the US -- which has moved industry in great amounts "off-shore")
can save our planet -- and real soon.

Prematurely busting the great economic bubbles (which will burst eventually
-- anyway) would result in great conserving of fossil fuel -- and all other
types of energy.

As they would no longer be able to afford "gluttony"

So -- probably by the fall of 2008 -- the pressure release valve pops --
and the world "conserves"

By the way -- the non-industrialized 3rd world is already conserving -- due
to those very same reasons.

Ergo -- the reversal in oil consumption trends when prices peaked a while
back -- 3rd world consumers were priced out of the game!!

This resulted in a micro glut -- and that became all the more justification
the Barbarian Blooded need to deny and procrastinate more -- and SUV sales
picked right back up.

Tom is "theoretically" correct -- meaning we could use high
science/technology -- to solve problems -- hey -- what happened to H2 fusion??

We know that works (H-Bomb) -- just a matter of harnessing it better.

But Tom's flaw is he does not stop to consider the human nature of the
dominant rulers of planet earth at this time -- the barbarian blooded
segment of the human species who in effect rule!! (and if you tend to
disagree with that rule -- preemptive head chopping!!)

If you doubt that -- just watch some American Mass Media presentations --
violence is so grossly presented it probably would embarrass the Druid
people's of the distant past -- or the Aztec of Mexico past -- or the
Borneo head hunters.

Though just because a society eats human flesh does not mean they be
totally uncivilized seed eaters -- no -- they often conserve well so as not
to run out of heads and or flesh!!

And that is a fatal flaw in his vision.

Our collective barbarian natures derive from the worst kind of uncivilized
humans -- "SEED EASTERS"

So don't go telling me to bet on this segment of the species figuring out
any long term (or even short term!!) solutions -- short of all out war --
which is all they usually "understand"

That they will restrict their gluttony and conserve fossil fuel resources
(SEED)

And a great war will positively impact on the fossil fuel supply situation
-- as the next all out war will decimate humanity -- plus destroy it's
technical infrastructure -- driving it back to the stone age -- if not
further!!

Who needs fossil fuels then??

OK -- explain the logic of converting food to fuel please??? Through
production of ethanol from food the barbarian blooded figure they can solve
the energy problem.

And get this -- they use "seed" to make the ethanol -- literally -- corn
grain is seed!!

See -- nothing changes -- 

Well -- it gets more "modern" -- now instead of eating the seed -- they
make fuel to drive around in their SUV's for "entertainment"!!

When simply everyone using CF lighting rather than incandescent would have
even better results -- "liberating supplies of energy far beyond what seed
can/could produce!!!

It is inherited barbarian mentality that dooms us all -- nothing less!!

Tom dreams up a techno Utopia -- and probably uses incandescent light bulbs --
