Uh...what?!

Ice bergs aren't born at sea from a zone of sea water which 
spontaneously freezes. If that's where all ice bergs originated, you 
would be correct.

Ancient ice shelves, towering many stories above sea level (much more 
than the increase in volume that freezing causes) are breaking apart and 
falling into the sea. That is what's causing a rise in sea level.
