This is probably a good entry point --

efrigerator__42L_.html
Buy one and play with it ---
Here is what I am considering -- using "steam" for the heat source --
A high pressure -- pressure cooker -- no need for anything more
complicated. Steam condenses on ammonia boiler and water drips back down --
temperature is adjust according to the steam pressure you wish to run this at.
A small boiler made from truck brake line tubing would work fine.
Rig in a pressure release valve -- so anything over that pressure just
blows off -- course -- one could direct that blow-off to some other use for
heat -- like cooking rice -- beans -- you name it.
The point is anything can be used to fire that micro boiler -- one of those
nice stoves over at the stove list --
Or hey -- just set it over my neighbors three stone fire hearth.
Under the cooking grill -- while they cook their meals -- they can cool
their drinks -- etc -- all at no extra energy costs!! Well -- maybe a
little extra wood in the fire hearth.
I have about 1000 hits like the above to investigate -- later ---
It would require only a small solar concentrator to boil that water --
another option.
Now -- to find out what temperature the absorption boiler wants -- Probably
350 F or more??
140 psi saturated steam -- no big deal in a pressure cooker with relief
valve design that would be very small.
Probably cost less than $50 a unit to!!
