Here is an example of the complete system for waste heat recovery -- just
plug and play.

To large for my tastes -- requires the waste heat from at aleat a 150 HP
diesel engine.

Still -- if one made that heat???

Ice-making capacity is 1 ton/day

Refrigeration effect:   6 KW DY
Ice-making capacity:   33kg/h
Suited horsepower:   >=150 HP

The phenomenon that liquid absorbs gas is called absorption, while the
phenomenon that solid absorbs gas is named adsorption. DY heat energy
adsorption refrigeration technology takes DY double salt as absorbent and
ammonia as refrigerant. It utilizes waste heat of diesel engine exhaust as
power. Depending on chemical affinity and power provided by the circulation
of heat energy refrigeration, it attains to efficient refrigeration. This
technology has solved the difficult problems that inhibits development of
adsorption refrigeration and improve the traditional intermittent
adsorption refrigeration to continuous refrigeration, and let the
adsorption technology can be put into practical production.
