Peter,
Even though I hate the lengthy debate on "political" matters, I must admit
that your different Chine's leads have brought up a lot of new ideas in my
daily business. I haven't benefited from them so far, but I anticipate doing
so in the near future.
I am a "Kevin" thinking guy (Thermodynamic laws) but I still think that you
contribute a lot to the out of the box thinking. Thank you and pls.
continue.
The absorption leads resemble the original Swedish Electrolux Thermosyphon
refrigerator. Its simple and it works and I think the Chinese can
manufacture it at low costs.
The Iceball fridge was used in the 70'ies by a Danish company to provide
solar heat driven cooling for vaccines in the tropics. There is nothing new
under the sun but still interesting to see how a simple DIY kit can be done.
Best regards/Med venlig hilsen

Some interesting Urls --- From a China supplier.
Their basic system graphic:

The description of operation:

The bare bones device -- which I shall try to source:

Detailed view of device:

So -- probably $20 per unit bare bones or less??
Hook one up to your pressure cooker??
