Dear Tom and All:
Congratulations on all to the development of a practical charcoal
gasifier-stove. Charcoal is certainly a great fuel both for cooking and
power generation.
Keep in mind that charcoal power engine gasifiers were easily developed
in the 1930s and used extensively during WWII. However, charcoal
manufacture is inherently wasteful and Sweden (a non combatant) was able
to take the next step to wood gasifiers which manufactured, then
gasified all the charcoal AND volatiles in situ.
