Hi Guys,
I know this is of topic, but I thought it would be interesting to share
With you this crazy piece of our copycat culture.
No doubt North hemisphere culture has dominated our more "light, romantic
and less practical (tropical) south hemisphere approach to life; but things
have gone to far..... I love a good turkey and stuffing with its silky
perfect gravy, but not when its 104 ºF (40ºC), and I'm covered with sweat
like a pig in a slaughter house ( I really dont know if they sweat at all).
I love snow up in the mountains when its winter and I can go skiing, but not
at the malls in summer just to have that perfect Christmas...it's just to
much.
It's sad to see us down here trying to imitate every little detail of a
Distant reality, big ford trucks 5 liter engines, just to take a 80 kg guy
to work. Sad, very sad ; and I could tell you about another thousand
stupid thing we do to look like you guys up there. This is South America
a part of the world thats lost its identity and struggles on to keep up
with the Jones, throwing fortunes away.
Ah, and Id forgotten; now we also have Halloween....
Mary Christmas to all....
