[Gasification] water tank doesn't collect solar

Dear Peter,
     Not addressing all of the other issues which arise in trying to build an 
efficient solar collector which you armchaired nicely, a cylinder will not 
focus the light into a central line as your water tank is supposed to, but a 
parabola is needed which is more tricky to make. Also, coating the surface with a 
reflecting material is a royal pain in the sitter. None of the standard films 
are useful and getting them to stick evenly is more difficult. 
     Next time, get off the computer and do it before pontificating.
