[Gasification] ir(heat) driven PV cells

Jim,

JX Crystals near Seattle has already constructed an operating thermal PV
(TPV) system for the US Army and it is setting on his desk.

The problem is that the IR cells respond best to the IR from the highest
temperatures. It is difficult to get things to hold together at 2000 deg.F
for any economical time.

Give Dr. Lewis Fraas a call and he will tell you the problems of getting
above 12% efficiency first hand.
