Moisture in the fuel is one of the reasons that I choose a divorced fuel
magazine for the Gas-of-Fire 1000. With a fuel magazine attached to the
reactor one will cook off moisture and it has a tendency to collect above in
the fuel magazine. Now we run the possibility to have uneven moisture in the
fuel supply. With a divorced fuel magazine the moisture content of the fuel
is more consistant, kind of like in the inverted down draft gasifier.
In regards to steam: Steam and gasification have been two peas in a pod for
many, many years.
