[Gasification] push-pull for Free hydrogen

Dear Dr. Reed,

Can you measure much ammonia in the cherrypits you are testing? I moved many
tons of air through them to remove the moisture to reduce shipping costs. I
hear the west already has enough water in the form of snow.

Can nitrogen supplied by air moving through a gasifier in the presence of
free hydrogen form ammonia? If free hydrogen is present with hot nitrogen,
and a reaction occurs above a certain temperature, wouldnt it be best to
shoot (control forced-draft blower speed) for a temperature one degree
below where this occurs to make the most powerful gas from my old stratified
downdraft? (Even though CO2 moles may outnumber the CO moles
burrowing-through at this rate).

I don't sence ammonia when this gasifier is operated in the induced-draft
mode with the same power to drive the fan. Certainly the gasifier bed
temperature and pressure is much lower in suction mode.

Work safe,

Andy Schofield
