Yes, indeed!! China seems to be going through the same growing pains as did
Japan early after WW2. It seems that the Chinese Government would acquire
rights to manufacture a particular engine, and then, many Factories would be
set up all over China to make what was ostensibly the same engine. With
different Management, work force, materials, Quality Standards, etc, product
quality can vary tremendously. There are indeed true horror stories about
how dreadful some of these engines are. On the other hand, there are indeed
"happy ending" stories also. It is important to know the quality
characteristics and standards of the Manufacturer of the specific engine
being purchased.

There are many different types of gasifier system designs, and different
qualities of construction. It is important that the Customer purchase a
system that is appropriate for his desired end use. A gasifier system
suitable for fueling a stove system may not be appropriate for fueling an
engine.

Best wishes,

Kevin
