While shopping at ACE hardware today, noticed an item the size of
a road flare that you toss into a fireplace fire and it is
supposed to remove/prevent creosote in the chimney.
label said it contained copper sulfate and trisodium phosphate?
wonder how it works? copper ends up getting onto the creosote (tars)
and catalyzises them to something else like volatile methanol and
other compounds?? what would sprinkling some of this into the
fuel of a tarry updraft gasifier do?
