[Gasification] SFC for De-rated Engines. Was: small scale gasifiers for those that need them

Gentle people,

The list and the topics discussed are much better served when we adhere to
minimal standards of civility. When these standard are violated, there's
always the fall-back tactic of simply "turning the other cheek". I regret
the times I have let my emotions overpower my good sense and apologize for
them. Being a bully discourages people with valuable input from
contributing.

Lively argument should not be confused with ad hominem attacks which do
little to shed light on any subject of discussion. Personally, I think that
I could have a friendship with any of the list contributors, even though
some of their styles of presenting their ideas may be off-putting to me from
time-to-time. (I don't require that anyone feels similarly about me.)

In the history of science there are numerous rivalries that resulted in the
alienation of individuals who may otherwise have been fruitful
collaborators. Here, we contribute, presumably, not to champion certain
ideologies or opinions but to provide mutual support for each other via the
free interchange of ideas. Differences of opinion are inevitable and drive a
lively debate but it's important to afford our adversaries the basic human
respect that we ourselves think we deserve.
