We use 10% ethanol by volume in our winter oxygenated fuel. They used to
use MTBE but that has been outlawed for a few years now.

Yes, my vehicle has EFI and computer controlled ignition. It is a 2005
Nissan 2.4 liter engine with 5 speed manual transmission.
I hope your experiment goes better than mine did. :-)
