If the population were seriously interested in decreasing global warming viz
a viz reduction in CO2 emissions, they would stop drinking soda pop and beer
to start with.
Some of the landfill gas operators have told me that they have separated CO2
from the gas but can't sell it to the industry at any price due to the source,
regardless of the purity. Perception vs. science again.
There is a membrane vacuum dehydration process for ethanol. Some of the
commercial ethanol dehydration processes work on 1800 BTU/gallon using water
asorbing media in the distillation columns. More energy is used in ethanol plants
drying the distillers grains for cattle feed than for ethanol dehydration.
